The name sets the theme for this Beauty Salon in Pambula. A bold statement was required by the owner so an eye-catching graffiti artwork formed the backdrop for the vintage motorbike reception counter.

A new two bedroom (dual key) disabled compliant apartment was required at the Tathra Beach House Apartments. The new apartments needed to blend with the other apartments, and nestle into the site. The yellow building is designed to operate as an individual motel-style room when required, while the remaining building is another single bedroom with full kitchen, laundry and lounge room.
The motel-style bedroom, with kitchenette and robes. The door on the right is locked whilst operating as a motel room, or opened when the entire apartment is rented as a two-bedroom space.

This renovation involved the fit out of a partially completed restaurant space. The existing stacked stone and general layout were the defining factors for the project, whilst the remaining elements including floor coverings, wall colours, bar fitout and furniture was required. The 3D tiled feature wall was a custom-made creation for the space. Photography: Claudine Thornton
Quirky mexican details can be seen throughout the restaurant.

Sandstone cladding freighted from Gosford Quarries lines the lower portion of the exterior of this home.
A bullnose verandah surrounds the home. A pergola continues the roofline on the north facing elevations, and will be draped in deciduous grape vines in the months to come.

This 4 bedroom home with seperate rumpus room began as a spec home for Rettke Builders, so needed to appeal to a wide audience whilst still ensuring it would 'stand out' from the crowd. The home was purchased before the foundations were even laid - so the exterior products and materials were adapted to suit the new home owners. Photography - Claudine Thornton

Uncomplicated, clean and fresh was the brief for the kitchen that formed part of the open plan living space. Splashback windows provide colour from the outdoors, and are a great source of natural light for the cooking area.
A mixture of cladding types and simple subtle palette.
